Ocean Paws is an online pet store based in LB Nagar, Hyderabad, Telangana. We are passionate pet parents ourselves and we stock a wide range of products for dogs, freshwater fish, marine aquariums and planted tanks. Everything we sell is carefully chosen for quality, safety and value. While we are rooted in Hyderabad, we deliver pet supplies and aquarium accessories across India right to your doorstep.
Q2. What kinds of pets and products do you cover?
We cover dogs, fish and aquarium enthusiasts in a big way. Our product range includes dog food, dog grooming products, dog collars, harnesses and accessories, freshwater aquarium filters, heaters, fish food and medicines, marine aquarium lights, protein skimmers, reef salt, wave makers, return pumps and marine supplements, and planted aquarium fertilizers, lighting and soil. Q3. Are the products on Ocean Paws genuine and safe?
Absolutely yes. We only work with trusted brands like Aquaforest, Moe Puppy, Pawpeye, Bubble Magus, Aquatic Remedies, SunSun, Intan, Blue Treasure and others that meet high standards for quality and safety. Every product listed on our website is sourced from ethical manufacturers and reputed suppliers. We personally use and believe in many of the products we sell.
Orders and Shopping
Q4. How do I place an order on Ocean Paws?
Placing an order is very simple. Just browse our website at www.oceanpaws.in, select the product you want, choose the variant if applicable such as size or quantity, and click on Add to Cart. Once you are done shopping, go to your cart, click on Checkout, fill in your delivery details and complete the payment. You will receive an order confirmation on your registered email or phone number.
Q5. Do I need to create an account to shop?
You can browse all products without logging in, but we recommend creating a free account so you can track your orders, save your wishlist, view your order history and get personalised updates on new arrivals and exclusive weekly discounts. Registration takes less than two minutes.
Q6. Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
If you need to modify or cancel an order, please reach out to us as soon as possible at info@oceanpaws.in or on +91 7416684040. We will do our best to accommodate changes before the order is dispatched. Once the order has shipped, cancellations may not be possible but you can still apply for a return after delivery as per our returns policy.

Q8. Do you deliver across India?
Yes, Ocean Paws delivers pet supplies and aquarium products across India. Whether you are in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai, Pune or any other city, we will get your order delivered to you. Delivery timelines may vary depending on your location and the nature of the product.
Q9. What is the minimum order value for free delivery?
We offer free delivery on orders above Rs. 699. For orders below this amount, a standard shipping charge will be applied and will be shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
Q10. How long does delivery take?
For most locations within Hyderabad and major metros, delivery typically takes 3 to 5 business days. For remote or tier 3 locations, it may take a little longer. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link so you can follow your shipment in real time.
Q11. My order shows delivered but I have not received it. What should I do?
Please first check with your family members or neighbours and also check if the product was left at your gate or common area. If you still cannot locate it, contact us immediately at info@oceanpaws.in with your order number. We will escalate the issue with our logistics partner and resolve it for you as quickly as possible.
Returns and Refunds
Q12. What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 7 days of delivery. If you have received a damaged, defective or wrong product, please contact us within this period with your order details and photos of the product. We will arrange a replacement or refund after verifying the issue. Please note that opened or used consumable products such as food, medicines and supplements are generally not eligible for return unless the product itself is defective.
Q13. How do I apply for a refund?
To apply for a refund, email us at info@oceanpaws.in with your order number, the reason for return and photos of the product if it is damaged. Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5 to 7 working days.
Dog Products
Q14. What dog food brands do you carry?
We currently stock Pawpeye, a premium brand that offers grain free wet dog food in variants like Chicken and Broccoli and Lamb and Blueberry. These are nutritionally balanced and available in convenient monthly pack options. We are constantly expanding our dog food range so keep checking back for new additions.
Q15. Are your dog grooming products safe for all breeds?
Yes. The Moe Puppy grooming range that we carry is formulated to be gentle and safe for dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. Products like the Keratin Plus shampoo, the Rinse Free Dry Shampoo, Paws Balm, Ear Care and Dental Spray are all made with pet safe ingredients. If your pet has a known skin condition or allergy, we always recommend consulting your vet before trying a new grooming product.
Q16. Do you sell dog collars and harnesses for large breeds?
Yes, our Ocean Paws branded dog collars and harnesses are available in multiple sizes to fit small, medium and large breeds. Freshwater Aquarium
Q17. I am a beginner setting up my first freshwater aquarium. Where do I start?
Congratulations on your new journey into fishkeeping! For a basic freshwater aquarium setup you will need an aquarium filter, a heater if you are keeping tropical fish, an air pump, a water conditioner to neutralise tap water and a good quality fish food. We carry all of these on Ocean Paws. We recommend starting with a hardy species like goldfish or guppies and doing a proper nitrogen cycle before adding fish. Q18. What fish food do you recommend for goldfish?
We stock Intan Gold Fish Pellets which are specially formulated for goldfish and provide excellent nutrition for colour, growth and immunity. Goldfish do well with pellet foods as they are easy to control in terms of portion size and reduce water fouling compared to flake foods.
Q19. My fish are sick. What medicines do you carry?
We stock a range of Aquatic Remedies fish medicines including Bactonil FW for bacterial infections and Aquaria Clear for water clarity issues. We also carry Amozeal for ammonia removal which is a common cause of fish stress and disease. If you are unsure about your fish's symptoms, please share the details with us and we will help you identify the right product.
Q20. Do you sell water test kits for aquariums?
Yes, we carry aquarium water test kits under our Freshwater Aquarium category. Testing your water regularly for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH is one of the most important habits for any fishkeeper, whether beginner or experienced.
Marine and Reef Aquarium
Q21. I want to set up a reef aquarium. What are the must have products?
A reef aquarium requires more attention to water chemistry than a freshwater tank. The key products you will need include a good marine salt like Aquaforest Reef Salt, a protein skimmer like the Bubble Magus range, wave makers for water circulation, a high quality reef light like the Aqua Knight V3, and water supplements for calcium, magnesium and alkalinity. Q22. What is the difference between reef salt and regular marine salt?
Reef salt is specifically formulated with elevated levels of calcium, magnesium, alkalinity and trace elements that are essential for the health and growth of corals and other invertebrates in a reef tank. Regular marine salt or ocean salt is suitable for fish only setups but lacks the enhanced mineral profile that corals require. Q23. Why do I need a protein skimmer for my marine tank?
A protein skimmer removes dissolved organic compounds from the water before they break down into ammonia and nitrate. In a reef tank especially, keeping nutrient levels low is critical for coral health and water clarity. Q25. What do I need for a planted aquarium setup?
A successful planted aquarium needs three fundamental things: light, nutrients and CO2 or at minimum good substrate. We carry planted aquarium lighting, premium aquarium soil for root feeding plants, liquid fertilizers and accessories. Whether you are setting up a low tech or a high tech planted tank, we have the products to support your vision.
Q26. Do you carry aquarium soil and fertilizers for planted tanks?
Yes, we have a dedicated Planted Aquarium category on Ocean Paws that includes aquarium soil, planted aquarium fertilizers, lighting and accessories. Good quality aquarium soil like what we carry provides essential nutrients at the root level and helps maintain a slightly acidic pH which most aquatic plants and tropical fish prefer.
